To celebrate its official launch, WTCA presents a Special Launch Package for the first 2000 early birds registered customers, comprising three complimentary scheduled service maintenance sessions covering labour, parts, and lubricants, along with a 7-Year/180,000km Engine & Powertrain Warranty for the first registered owner, in addition to a standard 5 years/150,000km warranty. The collaboration between WTCA and GAC Motor International Co., Ltd. culminates in the official debut of the GAC GS3 EMZOOM in the Malaysian automotive scene, underscoring a concerted effort to fortify and establish the GAC brand in Malaysia. The recent Start of Production (SOP) for the completely knocked-down (CKD) GAC GS3 EMZOOM in WTCA’s Segambut plant, marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony, signifies a milestone achieved merely 13 months after the inception of the local assembly project in 2023.

Tan Keng Meng, Chief Executive Officer of Warisan TC Holdings Bhd, expressed optimism about the public's response to the GAC brand, citing strong and positive reviews received since the preview of the GAC GS3 EMZOOM in January. The vehicle is powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine generating a maximum of 177PS at 5,500rpm and 270Nm of torque, with a swift 0-100km/h acceleration time of 8.0 seconds.

The GAC GS3 EMZOOM boasts a striking exterior design highlighted by the Mecha Wing Grille, Laser Eye Split LED headlights, and electric hidden door handles, evoking a futuristic and aerodynamic allure. The interior offers an exclusive blue and black two-tone trim with leatherette seats, complemented by advanced technology features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android phone mirroring, surround-view camera system, and electronic parking brake with autohold.

In terms of safety, the GAC GS3 EMZOOM is equipped with a comprehensive suite of active and passive safety features, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) enabling Level 2 autonomous driving. Variants also feature front and side airbags, front and rear disc brakes, hill hold control, electronic stability program (ESP), and blind spot vision as standard.
